Review on Malarvadi Arts Club
Yesterday I saw the movie Malarvadi arts club. There were a lot of expectations when we planned to see the film. But the film let us down, not because of its actors or director but by the lack of good script.
When I saw the film I found a lot of similarity to rock on. The main character of the film shows striking resemblance to the character Paraman(Subrahmanyapuram) . Even the get up and makeup is copied. The story of the film is very ordinary and predictable. Vineeth Sreenivasan`s caliber as a artist is shown in the film but his lack of technical knowledge in direction is evident in places. If the direction of the film was left to his father it would have been better.
The five young actors have got talent and will have a bright future. Their lack of experience in acting is visible in some parts of the film.
My verdict
Film is not boring.
It does not have suspense.
Watch it for the risk taken by the director.

Soofi paranja kadha,the much awaited film will hit the silver screen tomorrow(19-02-2010).The film is based on the Malayalam novel Sufi Paranja Kadha by K.P. Ramannunni. The movie portraits the life of Kerala people 16 decades back. The story takes place at a time when the British took the rule of Malabar from Tipu sulthan. The theme of the story is based on the passionate love between a Hindu woman and Muslim man.
The director of the movie is Priyanandam who is famous with movies as Neythukaran, Pulijanmanetc. The cinematography is by KG Jayan and Lyrics by Rafeeq Ahmad. The music is by Mohan Sithara. K.S.Chirta ,Sunil and Latha Krishna are the singers. Thampi Antony, Prakash Bare, Sharbani Mukharjee, Jagathy,V.K. Sreeraman and Babu Antony are handling the key roles.
Shortest father in a movie

Guinness Pakru has now another chance to get into the Guinness book for another entry of record as he is the shortest father of the entire movies world wide. But we will have to wait and see whether he will be awarded or not. The upcoming Bollywood film Paa cast Amitabh Bachan very short in appearance but we know that it is only a computer trick and he is not the father of a son in the movie. On the other hand the Undapakru role in My Big Father, Malayalam film is of a father and his height is natural. Now it is for the world to wait and see whether something similar will happen in Pakru’s real life as he is father now. He may be the only father who gets a chance to lie on the lap of a son both in film and life.
The story of My Big Father is based on comedy with the cast of Jayaram as the hero of My Big Father and the other main roles are played by the best comedy actors of Malayalam film industry. They are Undapakru, Innocent, Jagathy Sreekumar, Suraj Venjaramood, Salim Kumar, etc. and the My Big Father heroine is Kaniha. This is the second movie in which Jayaram and Kaniha get together.
Jayaram and Undapakru in My Big Father are running a catering service in which Innocent is the manager. Pakru in this movie is a Biriyani maker who is specialized in. The quality of Biriyani is sorted out just by smelling. Such is the talent of the Biriyani specialist Undapakru. As the story goes on we find that Jayaram’s marriage proposals do not reach in marriage as the brides fool his short father. So, he decides that he would marry only one who does not make fun of his father. Later, he meets Kaniha and falls in love with her. But unfortunately some problems occur between Kaniha and Jayaram due to certain misunderstanding. So, he blames Pakru for it and Pakru tries to commit suicide and as an aftermath Pakru loses all his memory and later Kaniha and Jayaram in My Big Father get into wedlock. Now it becomes a trouble for them to look after the father who has no memory of past obviously. The direction of the movie is done so perfectly and so it is worth watching. There are many striking events and scenes in the movie. This movie is the best movie of Ajayan so far.

Prithviraj film Veettilekkulla Vazhi
The 2010 upcoming Malayalam film Veettilekkulla Vazhi will give the chocolate hero of Malluwood a new face of serious role. The action – drama genre Mollywood film Veettilekkulla Vazhi directed by Baiju will be co-starred by Prithvi’s brother Indrajit and the experienced actor Nedumudi Venu. The director of Veettilekkulla Vazhi says that the new Prithviraj film Veettilekkulla Vazhi release will be in 2010.
In Veettilekkulla Vazhi we will meet a boy who has been jailed from his birth itself in New Delhi. Veettilekkulla Vazhi story is about a doctor who tries hard to rescue the imprisoned boy of Veettilekkulla Vazhi and lead him home. The name given to the movie is exactly apt to the story of the upcoming film of Prithviraj in 2010. It becomes a tragic film in 2010 as the father of the boy Mr. Razak is the terrorist who was a cause to make the doctor and many others victims of terrorism. The doctor in Veettilekkulla Vazhi starts his task of finding the father of the boy in the film.
The music director of Veettilekkulla Vazhi, Ramesh Narayanan may bring us a great treat of loveable music in Veettilekkulla Vazhi and Prithviraj will have a great time of showing off his talents in this upcoming Malayalam film in 2010. The release of Veettilekkulla Vazhi will change the future of Prithviraj in South Indian film industries.
