The specialty of Kerala Café, the Malayalam film is that it is being directed by ten different directors. And the Mollywood film Kerala Café is combined by director Ranjith.

The ten directors of Kerala Café are Shaji Kailas, Lal Jose, B. Unnikrishnan, Anvar Rasheed, Syama Prasad, Revathy, Anjali Menon, Padmakumar, Uday Ananthan and Sankar Ramakrishnan. Among all the director of the film Kerala Café, only Sankar Ramakrishnan is an entrepreneur.

The leading actors in Kerala Café are Mammootty, Sreenivasan, Suresh Gopi, Jyothirmayi, Siddiq, Sweta Menon, Sudeesh, Salim Kumar, Kalpana, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Dileep, Navya Nair, Sree Nath, Sona Nair, Augustine, Jagathi Sree Kumar, Thilakan, Meera Nandan, Sukumari, Pridvi Raj, Jaya Surya, Rahman and Maniyan Pilla Raju.

Each of the ten directors of Kerala Café film present short films of ten to twelve minutes. And it is Ranjith the director who combined all these ten minute films into one single frame.

Now a days Malayalam movie industry have no worry about the cost of production of a movie. The film makers are ready to spend more money for the production of Malayalam movies. Comparatively Malayalam movies are less expensive in the case of production. But in the present situation all the Malayalam film producers   are changed their mind. They are ready to meet production expenses when ever the cost is high .It is the one of the main attraction of the Malayalam movies. All the big budget movies are not keeping the standard. Now the Tamil film industry is changing the walk in to the way of Malayalam movie classics. When increasing the standards of Tamil movies then Malayalam movies are walking in to down in the case of standard.

Any way the budget of Malayalam movie increasing in day by day, increasing in remuneration of stars and satellite writes are the main reasons for the budget increasing. Those who have more satellite write they are increasing their remuneration in day by day. Some times their remuneration amounts are not joining with the film budgets. When super stars control the films, then there is no place for the story and directors. Because of this reason our film industry is walking to a great damage.
