Shop Keepers and traders can now register their shops for the fourth version of Grand Kerala Shopping Festival. The Grand Kerala Shopping festival of this season is from December 1, 2010 to January 15, 2011. The registrations are available in 3 categories Gold Silver and General. The Registration fees are as follows

Grand Kerala Shopping Festival Version 4
The fourth version of Grand Kerala Shopping festival is scheduled to be held from Dec 1, 2010 to Jan 14, 2011. Grand Kerala Shopping Festival is organized by Kerala government and all shopping ventures spread across the State can become its partners. Through this Shopping festival the whole Kerala becomes a big shopping mall. The fest is conducted by the Tourism department in coordination with Industries and Commerce, Finance and Local self government Departments. Kerala changes to an international shopping destination during this festival. Lucky draws, bumper prizes and lot of discounts are awaiting the shoppers during this festival. Grand Kerala Shopping festival is counted as the largest shopping festival in Asia. This Shopping festival can generate good tax revenue to Government.

Fun Events add color to the shopping festival
The Grand Kerala shopping festival 2010 becomes more attractive with the newly added fun events. These events can attract more people to the third grand Kerala shopping festival. Three very different and funny competitions will be included in the shopping festival. This will start from 14th December. The whole state is divide into 3 zones for the fun events.

The first is smart student shopper which targets the students all over the state. A sum of Rs 500 will be given to various selected students from different colleges of Kerala. The students need to shop in a different and creative manner. The prizes will be given to the student who shops in a special and notable manner.
The second event is named as Family of the week. This event is for the people who shop together with their family. If the family members are able to answer the questions by Festival Jockeys, they will be awarded with great prizes.
The third fun event is Lucky color of the day. The shoppers need to wear a particular color dress for each day in a week. Each day of the week is assigned with a particular color. Yellow for Monday, Pink on Tuesday, Green on Wednesday, Orange on Thursday, Blue on Friday, Red on Saturday and White on Sunday. The Festival jockey will identify these people and will gift them with special prizes.
With these fun events the shopping festival can involve more people. There are also weekly lucky prizes in each zone of the shopping festival. The shopping festival is boosted with various road shows throughout the state. The shop keepers as well as the people throughout the state are showing great enthusiasm towards the shopping festival.
