Rajavinte Makan is the movie that brought Mohanlal to the superstar position 25 years back. The new Rajavinte Makan is a project Ashirwad cinema. Antony Perumbavoor the producer of Mohanlal’s Ashirwad productions made discussions about the new project with Thampi Kannanthanam,the director and Dennis Joseph, the script writer. It is said that the new project will be a remake of the old story more than a sequel. Suresh Gopi will also do the role of “Kumar”in the new project. The pooja prayer of the new project will be held on 16^th july 2010. It was on 16^th july 1986 the mega hit “Rajavinte Makan” released.
