Reliance Broadband Plus at Kottayam
Netconnect Broadband plus, which is the CDMA broadband service of Reliance communications is now at Kottayam. Company officials told media that this is the fastest wireless Internet service in the country. Netconnect is having around 30% higher downlink rate when compared with other wireless broadband services. . It provides a downlink speed of 3.1 Mbps and an uplink speed of 1.8 Mbps. Net connect makes possible high performance Internet browsing along with fastest video streaming and video surveillance.
The initial price for Netconnect Broadband plus is Rs. 2299. This is available in prepaid and postpaid. 9 prepaid plans are available ranging from Rs. 200 to Rs. 3000. Special plans are there for college students.
The Netconnect Broadband plus will be made available in all districts by the end of December 2010. At present Reliance Netconnect Broadband plus is available in districts of Kollam, Kottayam, Alleppey, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad and Calicut.
