Kerala university youth festival will start tomorrow(21-01-2010). The venue for the fest is at cherthala. It is after a long period of 12 years, cherthala is becoming the venue for University youth festival. The inauguration processions will start tomorrow evening from the “Vayalar Raktasakshi Mandapam” and from Varanadu Naduvile Kokilam which is the birth place of Irayiman Thampi. The competitions will be conducted from January 22 to 26. The inauguration of the fest will be done by Padmashri Lt.Col.Mohanlal. There are totally 8 stages for the youth festival. There will totally 64 events in which students from 207 colleges participating. Accommodation facilities are arranged for participants at various hotels nearby. Film stars Mamootty, Jayaram, Suresh Gopi and Dileep will also visit the venue on various days.
