The Famous football tournament of Kerala, G V Raja football tournament will start from tomorrow. The last tournament was held 25 years ago. It was on that day the gallery broken and great causalities occurred. Trivandrum is now welcoming this football fest after more than 2 decades. The university stadium is fully equipped for this fest. The first match will be held at tomorrow evening. There will be separate galleries for students and woman. The tickets are available at rates of 20,30 and 50 rupees. The chair is available for Rs 50 ticket.

This is the 8^th edition of the tournament. The tournament is held in memory of Coloner Goda Varma Raja.The tournament is upto February 15. There will be a total of 19 games. The Kerala teams participating in the tournament are Malabar united, Josco FC, Golden Threads, Trivandrum Eleven, Kerala University and Titanium. The other teams include Vasco and Seas from Goa, Mohun Began, Army Eleven, Manirpur Eleven etc.
