A giant Christmas star which is made at Cochin enters into Guinness records. The star is having a height of 103 feet and width of 73 feet.1200 kg of steel is used for the construction. The star can be found hanging at the building of Apple Musical and Cultural Academy at Valanjambalam. In the Guinness Book of World Records this star is mentioned as “world’s largest Christmas ornamental star”. The certificate was awarded to the director Mr. Rajeev Kumar Cheruvara and the Managing director Saju Kadavilan by Craig Glanday who is the Editor-in-Chief f the Guinness World Records. The award function was held at Apple Academy on December 31,2009.
