  • Gooseberry (select big one) – 1 for 1 glass juice
  • Ginger – small piece
  • Lemon – ½ piece
  • Mint (pudina) Leafs
  • Sugar – 1teaspoon
  • water  – 1glass

Preparation

Cut Gooseberry into small pieces and remove the seed. Grind the mix of pieced gooseberry, ginger, lemon drops, water and Mint (pudina) leafs. Filter the juice to get the essence. Add sugar and serve. Selection of big Gooseberries will help to reduce its bitter and sour taste. And the drink is very healthier and tastier.

Healthier drink

Gooseberry is very rich in vitamin c, vitamin A, iron and calcium. Moreover it has healing power too.  It is an Ayurvedic medicine that has the power to purify blood, ease digestion process, and reduce fever. Serving the drink daily will be good to health and will enhance the body immunity. Inclusion of Mint leafs, which is one of the most common natural herbs, also helps to heal severe cold and throat pain.

Ingredients
Fish                                          – sliced (If it big one)
Turmeric Powder               -2 pinch
Red chilly Powder              -4 tea spoon
Ginger -garlic paste           – 1 tea spoon
Lime essence                        – 1 tea spoon
Pepper powder                    – ½ tea spoon
Salt and Oil

Preparation

  • Slice well the cleaned and drained fish.
  • Take a bowl and put turmeric powder, chilly powder, ginger-garlic paste, pepper powder and mix well with little water.
  • Mix well till it become a smooth paste and add lime essence and salt.
  • Apply the mix on both sides of the fish.
  • Remain the mix for 30 min, to make fish blend with the masala.
  • Heat oil in a pan and allow deep fry till become golden brown color.
  • Drain excess oil and serve.

Fish MollyFish Molly

Ingredients

Fish                                      – sliced (1/2kg)
Onion                                   – 1 (chopped)
Garlic, ginger paste        – 1 teaspoon
Tomato                                -1
Green Chillies                   – 4
Pepper powder                –  ½ teaspoon
Turmeric Powder           –  ½ teaspoon
Coconut milk                    – thin and thick each ½ cup
Lemon juice                      – 2 or 3 drops
Curry Leaves
Oil and salt

Preparation

Step 1:

  • Mix well the sliced fish pieces with 1/2 teaspoon turmeric and pepper powder. And add 1 or 2 drops of lemon juice and mix well. Leave it for 5 minutes.
  • Fry the mixed fish pieces for just 2 -3 minutes.

Step 2:

  • Heat the pan on mild flame.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and chopped onions.
  • Fry the onion till it become soft.
  • After it, add chopped tomato, pepper powder, garlic powder and green chillies sliced length wise. Add curry leaves for better taste.
  • Cook it till tomato becomes soft
  • Add the fried fish pieces and mix well with gravy
  • Add coconut milk (thin) and let it boil for 5 minutes.
  • Last, add coconut milk (thick) and boil for 2-3 minutes.

Now, fish molly is ready to serve. Garnish with red chillies and coriander leaves. Better combination with rice and chappathi.

Kerala fish curryFish Curry

Ingredients

Medium sized fish         – ½ Kg sliced
Ginger chopped             – ½ teaspoon
Garlic chopped               – ½ teaspoon
Large Onion                     – 1 chopped
Tomato                              -1 or 2
Green chilly                     – 4
Turmeric Powder          – ½ teaspoon
Chilli Powder                   – 1 teaspoon
Curry leaves
Kudampuli                       -2 pieces  soaked in warm and boiled water
Salt
Oil

Preparation

  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Add chopped onion, garlic, ginger, green chillies and curry leaves. Cook the mix well till the onion becomes soft.
  • Once it becomes soft, add sliced tomato, chilli powder and turmeric powder. Cook well till the tomato become soft.
  • Add Kudampuli with the cup of water and salt
  • Add additional cup of water, if needed
  • Put the sliced fish pieces into the pan and cook well till it boils.

Now the special Kerala fish curry is ready with flavor !.

A company secretary is a professional like Doctor, Engineer and a Chartered Accountant. A Company Secretary is entrusted to ensure whether the company is working with existing laws. A company secretary gives expert advice to the company management in the legal matters. As per the law, a company having a paid up capital of Rs 5 Cr needs a full time Company Secretary. A Company Secretary plays vital role in the announcing the meeting of board of directors and shareholders. A Company Secretary implements the decisions done in the meeting. A Company Secretary acts as a vital role between Company Management, Shareholders, Government and General Public.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India was formed in 1980 as an act of Parliament.  Before the act, it was an organization under section 25 of the Companies Act.  After the implementation of Company Secretaries act 1960, it has become the ultimate authority to execute the programme. The institute has more than 70 chapters in different states. In Kerala, The chapter offices are situated in Ernakulum, Trissur, Trivandrum and Calicut.

There are three steps in a Company Secretary course. They are Foundation, Executive and Professional programmes. The membership in ACS can be done after the pass in these examinations and required practical training.

An elegant student can pass the examinations within three years. An applicant with plus two and equivalent qualifications can join the Foundation programme. A candidate registered before 31 March can write the examinations on Dec that year and a candidate registered before September 30 can write the examinations in the next June. Graduates at any discipline can join directly to the Executive programme. Non Commerce graduates should pass the Foundation course by oral or postal tuition.

Increasing job opportunity is the specialty of this programme. Company Secretaries will be demanded even in the recession time. The reason is the increasing number of companies and the shortage of Company Secretaries. Huge demand supply gap can be seen in the particular area. There are about 10 Lakhs companies in India and company secretaries are only below 20000/-. Big companies are paying more than 1 lakhs (salary) to Company Secretaries. Universities and Educational institutions appoint Company Secretaries as directors and professors. A Company Secretary acts as a member of board of directors and CEO in some companies. Candidate who has passed the course can practice independently. As per the Companies act, every company with a paid up capital of Rs 10 Lakhs to Rs 5 Cr must do compliance audit every year with a registered  Company Secretary. A Company Secretary has to verify, whether the company complies with all legal provisions or not. The course fee details can be obtained from every chapter offices. The fee for Foundation programme is Rs 3600, for Executive programme, Rs 6500 and it is Rs 7500 for Professional Programme.

It is the land of coconut trees. Here we can see very attractive hills, valleys, mountains and dense forests etc. Totally 44 rivers are in Kerala state and in it 41 originate from Western Ghats .Which are flow towards west into the Arabian Sea. In Kerala there is a lot tea and coffee estate that help to attract more tourists to this place. The backwaters are other attractions in Kerala. Western Ghats forests are punctuated with large and small waterfalls which splash down the mountain side. The most attractive waterfalls in Kerala are Athirapally, Vazhachal, Aruvikkuzhi, Thommankuthu, Meenmutty, Palaruvi and Tusharagiri.

Athirapally

The Athirapally waterfall is in Trissur district. It is located at a height in the Sholayar forest ranges. The Athirapally waterfall is very near to the famous hill station Valparai. The waterfalls in Athirapalli  are 80 feet high which start at the high ranges. The road to this place very rocky that moves around the mountain and it gives a nice view of the Athirapally waterfalls. The best time to visit Athirapally waterfalls is in September. Surely this place gives relax and freshness from your stressful life.

Vazhachal

The Vazhachal waterfall is located 68 km from Trissur in Kerala state and which is 5kms apart from Athirapally. This waterfall is attractive with dense green forests and it is also the part of the Chalakkudy river. We can enjoy the beauty between September to February that is after the monsoons. It is an exotic place for tourists. Vazhachal waterfall is located at a distance of 90 km from Kochi. vazhachal is very famous  tourist destination in kerala.

Palaruvi and Tusharagiri

Palaruvi waterfall is located at about 75 km from Kollam district. Palaruvi waterfall considered as medicated because it flows down form the forests. And also it is known to be preventive for many diseases. Here we can see ruins of many ancient temples. Thusharagiri means the snow capped mountains. There the river diverges into three waterfalls which create a snowy spray. So it gives the name ‘Thusharagiri’. The best time to visit here is between September to November.

Meenmutty

Meenmutty waterfall is located 29km from Kalpetta in Wayanad District in the state of Kerala. This waterfall is a three-tiered waterfall with a height of 300 metres. It is the largest waterfall in Wayanad District and also Kerala’s second largest waterfall. The Meenmutty waterfall is placed on the triple point where two other districts Malappuram and Nilgiri join Wayanad in its beauty.Wayanad is kerala’s number one picnic spot and there is lot historical places which increase the beauty .

Aruvikkuzhi

The Aruvikkuzhi waterfall is located 18 km from Kottayam town. It is also one of the most beautiful picnic spot. This waterfall contains numerous little streams and which provides very cool and refreshing atmosphere. And it is  surrounded by rubber plantations. We can take photographs of the stream and the waterfall from different perspectives while taking a walk through the rubber plantations in there. Maramala waterfalls is very near to it.The Aruvikkuzhi waterfall is near to kumarakom.So we can enjoy the beauty of both aruvikkuzhi and kumarakom. The cool breeze from mountains will fill our lungs while walking through these place.

It is considering as a part of modernizing the transportation facilities in the state. The plan is aiming at the construction of pod car facility in capital of Kerala. And the Ministry has requested INKEL (a government establishment) to have a detailed report on the project.

Personal rapid transit system is a public transportation facility that connects small roads and inner towns. It is a battery car without driver and passes through special roads that constructed upon huge pillar like structures. It is like small cabins that moving very fast.  INKEL is instructed to construct the structure from “Vellayampalam” to 7km east fort in Trivandrum.

INKEL representatives already presented a detailed power point presentation before the ministry. In the presentation INKEL introduced the pod car that may be able to travel at a speed of 40km/hr. Pod car is decided to design with 6 seating arrangement. The project is targeting to produce 210 Pod cars on the 7km long elevated road. Pod car project is now in discussion in many other states of the country. And the project work started in Amritsar. INKEL is also considering the project in Kottayam-Erumally-Kadapattoor-Pala-Bharananganam route. As different from that in the capital Trivandrum, it is designed to assign a special way in Kottayam. But the cabin has a limited accommodation of 2 persons. It is sure that the introduction of the PRT will ease the people to travel effortlessly through urban cities. It allows easy urban mobility, personal comfort, less time consumption and it will not make any hindrance to the road transportation.

Couples as well as lovers are often sharing their gifts and celebrate the occasion with special dishes and others. Old couples are also widely celebrating the day in a memorable way. It is the special occasion to show his/her affection and love each other.

While approaching the day, most of us are thinking about choosing a special gift to him/her. Gift for him includes stylish T-shirts, shoes, ties, watches etc. More over special chocolates, dishes are attractions of the day. Candle lit dinner is one of the memorable idea in the occasion.
