Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) launched the discover Kerala tourist package. The packages are organized to promote the tourism in Kerala. Discover Kerala tourist package targets the domestic tourists of the country. The whole package is a very economical one. The Discover Kerala brings in network 13 Tamarind Easy hotels of KTDC and 6 other economy hotels. “Sundara Keralam” is the tour package of 9-12 days which covers the important tourist places of all 14 districts of Kerala. “Uttarayanam” is the tour package that covers important destinations of the Malabar region and “Dashinayanam” covers the important tourist destination of the Travancore region. Each of these packages includes the visit to beaches, lagoons, mountains, wild life sanctuaries, pilgrim centers and historical monuments.

The economical and attractive tour packages were launched by Kerala Tourism Minister Shri. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. He also said that KTDC will construct a new resort at Bekal this year.
