Deepika Pallikal withdraws from Squash Singles in Commonwealth Games 2010

Deepika Pallikal the Indian squash player from Kerala withdraws from singles event in Commonwealth games 2010. Deepika is suffering from fever. Her coach has informed media that she will participate in doubles as well as in mixed doubles.

Deepika was born on 21 September 1991. She left the Tennis court and started playing Squash from the year 2001 onwards. She had won various International Squash circuits. Deepika is also a model for various commericial products. She is being trained by Cyrus Poncha, Amir Wagih and Hafiz Mohammad Saleh.

She is having a good sports hereditary  too. Deepika’s grandmother represented Kerala in athletics and her grandfather  represented 3 states in basket ball.
