In the case of Vallarpadam container terminal, most of the containers are expected from the Coimbatore region. The industrial ministry of Kerala suggests a goods corridor that links Coimbatore and Cochin for the easy transportation of containers and goods. This corridor can be similar to the Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor. Both Kerala and Tamil Nadu governments are having great interest in this project. Amithab Kanth, the CEO of Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Company will be the executioner of the project.
