The private buses services started strike for an undefined period of time from today onwards. The private bus owners are demanding a charge hike as well as a revision on the student’s concession. The Transport minister has agreed to the charge hike demand in the discussion conducted yesterday. The new charge will get implemented after getting the NATPAC report. Minister asked for a 15 days’ time for the report generation which was not agreed by the bus owners. Minister told media that the attitude of bus owners is a challenge to the people of Kerala. The Bus strike has become much worse as a K.S.R.T.C union is also on strike for the day

Consider the case of the strike occurred at last week. About 40 KSRTC buses and Government vehicles are attacked by the strike people. The people of Kerala are now fed up with these strikes. In most of these strikes, people going to hospitals are badly affected. The people organizing the strikes are having no mercy or human feelings. In fact most strikes are for certain personal gains. Destructive strikes cannot gain anything good. People need to be vigilant against the hidden agenda behind these strikes. Once the people starts neglecting the strikes, Kerala can once more become the Gods own country.

Mohanlal – Suresh Gopi film Janakan releases on 29th January 2010. It was a great experience for the Janakan director Sanjeev N.R. to work along with the two leading actors of Malayalam film industry. Though the upcoming film Janakan was said have released in 2009 November, it did not happen. But it is now final to get released all over Kerala on January 29.
Vijaya Raghavan and Vijayakumar in Janakan will appear as police officers. Harisree Asokan and Bijukuttan have specific roles in this movie. Trivandrum was the main location for the movie Janakan. Keeping apart the film Twenty 20, it is after 16 years Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi acting together in a movie. It is a family thriller. Though Mohanlal is not seen throughout the film, he has a major role to do in it. Mohanlal in Janakan has only twenty minutes and he plays the role of an advocate where as Suresh Gopi in Janakan appears as a genuine villager. Kaveri and Suresh are spouses in this upcoming film Janakan and the new comer Priya is their daughter. Biju Menon and Harisree Asokan in the Malayalam film Janakan are the friends of Suresh Gopi.
Suresh Gopi as Viswanathan gets involved in a murder due to some unavoidable circumstances. So, he wants to prove his innocence to the court. Here comes Mohanlal as advocate Suriyanarayanan. This will narrate how a villager will overcome such great dramatic situation before law. So, it is a must watch film for all the Keralites as it might happen to anybody at anytime.

The Kerala State Beverages Corp (KSBC conceded that the sales was 29% more than the Christmas season last year. According to official report, on the 2008 Christmas season, the alcohol sale in Kerala was of Rs.22.05 crore. Kerala among 32 million populations of India is the highest alcohol–consuming states in India.
