Kerala Legislative Assembly Election Results Announcement 2011

Election Results and Leads are available on Internet

All the election results and leads are available in election officer’s websites at the time of counting itself.  Medias can directly collect information from the CEO’s server. The latest election results and leads are updating with the help of trend software which was developed by NIC. In all counting centers, halls are arranged for each constituency and each hall include 11 to 15 tables. It will arrange on the basis of size of the hall. Counting supervisor and counting assisters are included in each table. The representatives of each parties will be placed in behind of barricades. Counting also take place in returning officer’s table.

The counting will start after taking voting machines from strong room. The postal votes will be count on first. It will be counted in returning officer’s table. From this time also counting will starts in other tables also. Representatives can also record the number of votes from voting machines display.

There is a separate section for updating voting lists on computer. After getting signature from the observer and returning officer, it will be entering in to the computer. With the help of trend software, total lead will calculate and it will be publish on website. By this facility the recent counting results are available on this website without any delay. The time for announcing the election result will be vary based on the total number of candidate and the facility for calculating machines reading. If the number of candidate is more, then the results will be late.  Before lunch break, almost all the results will be announce. From 11 O’ clock itself the lead of each party will be available. Media centers are available in all counting centers and Chief Election Commissioner’s office.

As a part of Assembly election which was held in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Bengal, Assam, and Puthucheri, the results of exit poll, and post polls which are conducted by different Medias and agencies announced officially on today.   The results start to publishing in different channels, websites and News papers. Yeskerala.com will also publish the exit polls on today.  As per the strict order by the election commission, the exit poll results are start to publish only after whole the phases of Election. Today only the final phase of the election at Bengal is over. After completed the final Election Day in Bengal, Medias start to announce the Exit Poll and Post Poll result which was conducted by them. Election commission officially restrained declaration of exit poll and post poll results without completing whole election procedures.

SSLC Results of Kerala 2011 announced by Minister M.A. Baby

MA Baby Kerala Education MinisterSSLC examination result has announced on today evening. Education Minister M.A.Baby, officially announced the results in press meeting at Trivandrum. It is the first time that the results were published this much early and in April itself. In the last year it was published at May 3rd only. The results were approved in today 12pm under the leadership of Director of Public Examination Mr. Muhammad Haneesh. 458887 students were attended the last SSLC examination which was held between March 14 to 26. After announcing the exam results in officially it will publish in the site www.results.itschool.gov.in. In this site the facility for checking the results and to take the printout of mark list are also available. The printed copy can be used for further admission procedures. The results are published in Kerala Books and Publications (KBPS’s) site also. www.keralabooks.org

In the rush of election procedures also exam board were tried to finish the valuation and tabulation of papers at very fast. As a result of board’s dedication,they have published as much as early. The highest numbers of examiners were in Malappuram district and the lowest numbers are in Wayanad district.

In this year percentage of pass increased in to 91.37 percentages. In the last year it was 90.72. Minister offered special awards for the students who got A+ for all subject. The application for next years admission will be starts on may 4th. Admission procedures will continue in the basis of single window system. In this year onwards admissions in V.H.S.S also held on the basis of single window system. Those who are not eligible for higher studies can apply for the say exams.

In the pass percentage Kottayam district won the top place with the percentage of 97.02. Kannoor district got second place and the percentage of pass is 96.26 percentages.  Trivandrum got last position with 85.93 percentages.

Kerala in Polling Booth Today – How to Vote?

Kerala is going to the polling booth on today 13th April. 2,31,47,871 voters are there in Kerala. About 20,780 polling booths are there. Voting time is from morning 7’o clock to evening 5’o clock. One can cast vote only if he or she got the identity card/proofs approved by the election commission or slip given by election commission. An election commission help desk will be opened at every voting station to give slip to whom slip didn’t get.

From the chief election commissioner of Kerala, Nalini Netto, one can vote only if his or her name is on the voters list. Those whose name is not in the voters list can’t vote. For NRI’s they need to submit their Passport infront of the election officer for voting.

When a voter enters polling booth, he must show his identity card to the polling officer. Then polling officer will give the slip to the voter. After that ink mark will be applied on the finger of the voter. After signing the register slip should be given to the preceding officer.

Only after taking the ink mark by a voter the central control of the electronic voting machine will be turned on, at that time a green light will be turned on in the voting machine. Voter can vote only after the voting machine light is green. When the green light glows, the voter should cast the vote by pressing the button towards the candidate and the sign whom they are voting for. When the button is pressed, a red light will be turned on with a beep sound.

If the green light is not turned on and after casting the vote if the red light is not turned on, voter should inform the election officer.

To check if the name is on the voters list and to find booth in which vote is to be cast can be found from the call center of the election commission number is 1965.  You can also send the message to the number 54242 or 537252. Type ele space id card n0 in the message.

VOTERS whose photos are not on electoral rolls and whose electoral photo identity cards and booth slips have mistake(s) can bring one of the following 13 photos IDs and cast their franchise. They must also bring along erroneous photo ID cards.

  4. Service identity card issued to state/central government, PSU, local body or public limited company employees
  5. Passbook issued by public sector banks/post offices and kisan passbook

  7. Freedom-fighter ID card
  8. Property document such as patta and registered deed
  9. SC/ST/OBC certificate issued up to 28.02.2011

Idea Launches 3G services in Kerala

Idea launches 3G service in Kerala. Initially they have launched the 3G service in 7 districts only, later Idea will extend the service to the other districts also. Gold Standard 3G Service of Idea will be first available in Ernakulam, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Thrissur, Alapuzha, Kollam and Pathanamthitta districts. Inauguration of 3G service is done by Deputy Managing Director Amberish Jain and Kerala Circle Chief Operating Officer B. Ramakrishnan. Idea Cellular Ltd.  is the largest mobile service provider in Kerala.

From Idea 3G video conferencing, mobile TV, Video on Demand and High Speed Internet will be available.  Time Based Billing plan is given to 3G service to reduce bill amount. Idea has started 3G services in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Harayana and U.P. Idea got the 3G license in 11 circles in India.

The service will be available in  Kozhikode town, Payyoli, Koyilandi, Faroqe, Bapoor, Mallapuram, Kottakkal, Vengara, Parappanagady, Thrissur town, Ollur, Mannathy, Chettur, Amalanagar, Kochi, Fort Kochi, Trippunithara, Kalamasherry, Aluva, Alappuzha, Cherthala, Adoor, Kottarakkara and Punalur in the above districts. At the end of this year the service will be available in 175 towns across Kerala. At the end 2012 it will be available in 1215 places around Kerala.

Three other Mobile providers already launched the 3G services in Kerala. BSNL 3G is the 1st one launched in Kerala.  Tata Docomo and Aircel are the two other mobile providers already launched the 3G services in Kerala.

Syro-Malabar Major Archbishop, Cardinal Mar Varkey Vidayathil passed away at Lissy Hospital in Ernakulam today at 2 pm. He was 84 and been serving as Major Archbishop of Eranakulam and Angamaly Archdiocese and member of Most Holy Redeemer.He was admitted to Lissy Hospital as he was having heart pain in the middle of his Noon Holly Mass at 12 pm. He was then immediately taken to Lissy Hospital.

Union Defense minister Mr. A.K. Antony, AICC President Ms. Sonia Gandhi, Kerala Chief Minister Mr. V.S. Achuthananthan, Leader of Opposition Mr. Oomman Chandy, KPCC President Mr. Ramesh Chennithala, LDF Convener Mr Vaikom Vishvom, CPIM State Seceratory Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan and Muslim League President Mr. Panakkadu Hyderali Shihab Thangal announced their condolences about the demise.

Cardinal Mar Varkey vithayathil was born on may 29, 1927 at North Paravur, Ernakulam, kerala. And became the member of Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer. He was ordained as a priest in 12th june 1954. He holds a doctorate in canon law from the pontifical university of St.Thomas Aquinas in Rome. He was ordained as a bisop on 6th January 1997. He took the archiepiscopal titular see of Ohrid, later titular was changed to Ckeikh-Abadeh.
He became Major Archbishop of Ernakulam-Angamaly for Syro-Malabar Catholics on 18 December 1999. He became Cardinal-Priest of Titulus San Bernardo alle Terme on 21 February 2001. He became president of Catholic Bishops conference of India in February 2008.
He also serves as the president of the Synod of Syro-Malabar church.
Mar Varkey Vithayathil was one of the cardinal electors who participated in the papal conclave that elected Pope Benedict XVI in 2005.
