Elsamma Enna Aankutty
The new movie from the hit maker Lal Jos features the life of a hardworking girl from a village. Elsamma is the central character of the movie who is a newspaper distributer as well as local news correspondent. Her hardworking nature gave her the title “Aankutty”. The role of Elsamma is done by Ann who is the daughter of Malayalam actor and producer Augustine. This new heroine of Malayalam cinema is a physiologist by profession. The cast of the movie includes Kunchacko Boban, Indrajith, Nedumudi Venu, Manianpillai Raju, Jagathy Sreekumar, Janardhanan, Vijayaraghavan, Sooraj Venjaranmoodu and K.P.A.C Lalitha. The music is by Rajamani and script by Sindhu Raj. M.Ranjith is the producer.
Ann is the latest introduction by Lal Jos after Kavya Madhavan, Jyothirmayi, Samvrutha Sunil, Tessa, Muktha, Meera Nandan and Archana Kavi.
Review on Malarvadi Arts Club
Yesterday I saw the movie Malarvadi arts club. There were a lot of expectations when we planned to see the film. But the film let us down, not because of its actors or director but by the lack of good script.
When I saw the film I found a lot of similarity to rock on. The main character of the film shows striking resemblance to the character Paraman(Subrahmanyapuram) . Even the get up and makeup is copied. The story of the film is very ordinary and predictable. Vineeth Sreenivasan`s caliber as a artist is shown in the film but his lack of technical knowledge in direction is evident in places. If the direction of the film was left to his father it would have been better.
The five young actors have got talent and will have a bright future. Their lack of experience in acting is visible in some parts of the film.
My verdict
Film is not boring.
It does not have suspense.
Watch it for the risk taken by the director.
Small Family from Rajasenan
“Small family” is the new project of the families’ favorite director Rajasenan. This is also a family movie which brings before us the story of a family, which became rich by the selling of counterfeit liquor. The cast of the movie includes Kailash, Suraj Venjaramood, Srihari, Devayani, Lakshmipriya and Ananya. The story and screenplay is by Rajasenan and dialogues by Sujith. The camera of “Small family” is by Pradeep and Music by M.Jayachandran. The movie will get released under the banner of Gokulam Movies, produced by Shri.Gokulam Gopalan.
Kutty Srank on July 23
The Mammooty movie Kutty Srank will release on July 23. This is a much awaited movie by the public. The movie was exhibited in various film festivals and got lot of approvals and appreciations. This Shaji.N.Karun movie portrait the story of a boat driver in the period of 1950’s.The movie Kutty Srank can provide the audience the clear picture of Kerala during the middle of the 20th century. The movie plot includes the journey of “Kutty Srank” through various parts of Kerala from South to North including Travancore, Cochin and Malabar. The story comes across with an unidentified body washed ashore and 3 women claiming that it is Kutty Srank. These 3 women are from 3 different disciples and they all are the wives of Kutty Srank.
Jayaraj ready to strike with Kunjalimarakar
After the super hit movie Loud speaker, Jayaraj is coming with his new venture “Kunjalimarakar” featuring the life of King Samuthirie’s Naval commander Kunjalimarakar. Malayalam movie lovers can enjoy another historical big budget movie after the evergreen hit Pazashiraja.In the mean time Jayaraj also have the plans to create an art film too.
Search for New Heroine
Malayalam movie named scene number 001 by the new director Snehajith, requires a new heroine. Nishanth Sagar is the hero. The movie requires a heroine knowing classical dance. This film will get produced under the banner of M square productins. The screenplay and dialogues are by Suresh Kochunni. The lyrics are by Vayalar Sarathchandra Varma and Music by the new Music director Sreemoolanagaram Tikak. Vinod Illampally is the Camera man. The shooting will start by this July.
New time for Konkan trains

Indian railway announced new time schedule for the trains running in the Konkan route with effect from June 15, 2010. Among the trains from Kerala only Ernakulum –Nizamuddin Mangala express(2617) is having change in departure time. As per the new schedule Mangala express will leave Ernakulum station by 10.45 instead of 13.00.
The new arrival time for other trains are
