AMMA MEGA EVENT
Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes commonly known as AMMA will be conducting a star show of Malayalam film actors called “ Suryathejasode Amma”. The show will be held on F on March 2, 2011 in Kozhikode, Kerala. The show will have Malayalam film stars of all stages. Actually the show is joint venture between AMMA and Sun Network. The Sun Network with its Malayalam Channel Surya TV will be telecast this show “ Suryathejasode Amma” on Surya TV sometime later this month. All the members of AMMA will be present on March 2 for the show as expected by Mr Innocent, the president of AMMA.Malayalam film Director Mr Lal will direct the stage show “ Suryathejasode Amma” as Mr Siddique who has been the director of AMMMA’s earlier shows is busy with the Hindi remake of his film Bodyguard with Salman Khan.The practice sessions for the show is going well in Kochi as said by AMMA. Mr. Innocent, president of AMMA said that the main objective of the show “ Suryathejasode Amma”, is to provide Medical and financial aid to families of performing artists, who are not self sustainable and also to provide a fixed monthly income to the retried artistes.
Later they have changed the program at Kozhikode from February 2 to 3 due to Shivaratri celebrations.
Kavya Madhavan to become the brand ambassador for Kerala Soaps

Kavya Madhavan, the leading film actress in Malayalam film industry will be appointed as the brand ambassador of Kerala Soaps and Oils. Sri A. Pradeep Kumar, MLA, announced on Sunday that Kavya Madhavan had agreed to become the brand ambassador of Kerala soaps free of cost. The company already has three brands of toilet soaps and a washing soap. The company will introduce three more brands in March. Kerala Industries Minister Elamaram Karim will make the declaration about the ambassadorship at a function to be held on Kozhikode beach at 6 p.m. on March 1. Kavya Madhavan will address the gathering .Additional Chief Secretary of Kerala T. Balakrishnan is expected to give the keynote address at the ceremony. Mayor A.K. Premajam, M.K. Raghavan MP and Chairman of KSIE Scaria Thomas will be present at the function. After the function, there will be a musical program led by leading actor in Malayalam cinema Kalabhavan Mani.
Cochin Motor Show 2010
The Cochin motor show of the 2010 will be held from December 9-12, 2010. The venue for this mega event is Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium at Cochin. Cochin Motor show 2010 will be conducted by Impresario event management India Ltd. Cochin is the city of automobile lovers. Cochin Motor Show 2010 will exhibit all modern vehicles from the whole parts of the world.
The car manufactures and automobile companies including Mercedes Benz, Honda, Nissan, Volkswagen, Bosh, Mahindra, Tata, Maruthi, GoodYear, Kitup, JBL, Ceat etc will participate in this event
The visitors of this show can access all recent news, launches and concepts from the automobile field. Individual stalls will be there for exhibiting New Cars, Bikes, Electric Scooters, Sports Car, Vintage Car etc. Special stalls will be also there featuring Finance, Spare parts and Accessories.
Modern day Machinery&Accessories, Exchange Offers, Free Vehicle checkups etc are the major attraction of the show.
Cochin Motor show was launched first in 1966. This is the biggest motoring event in Kerala. Today Kerala has became the favorite spot of luxury cars. In the meantime, motor show is also becoming famous. Around 150 air conditioned stalls will be set up in the pavilion of 5 acres. Good and efficient parking facility will be also there for the visitors.
Competitions and Fun events will be also there to add more flavor to the auto show. The competitions include Blast from the Fast, Best Stall award etc
Apart from the vehicle stalls, there will be stalls featuring boats, water scooters, tyre companies, accessories, paint companies, car loans, life insurance, clubs, resorts etc.
Hairomax Miss South India Final 2010
The Hairomax Miss South India finals will be held today(06-11-2010) 6.30 pm onwards at Le Meridian International Convention Centre at Cochin. There are four finalists selected from Kerala. They are Aishwarya Muraleedharan, Priyanka Mohan, Geethu Christie and Denita Anand. There are 4 final contestants from each south Indian states.
The panel of Judges include former Miss India Swetha Vijay, Tamil actress Aditi Chibber, Telugu Actor Kaushal Prasad, Outstanding model Manish Ghullar, Media personalities Vijay Babu and Toshma Biju and Fashion Designer Sajimon Parayil.
The prize money will be as follows
Miss South India-Rs 1 Lakh worth Gifts
First Runner up- Rs 50,000 worth Gifts
Second Runner up- Rs 25,000 worth Gifts
The other titiles are Miss Beautiful Hair, Miss Beautiful Smile, Miss Beautiful Skin, Miss Beautiful Face, Miss Beautiful Eyes, Miss Congeniality, Miss Cat Walk, Miss Perfect 10, Miss Talented and Miss Photogenic.
The rounds include designer sari round, casuals, black and black and linen wear.
