The private buses services started strike for an undefined period of time from today onwards. The private bus owners are demanding a charge hike as well as a revision on the student’s concession. The Transport minister has agreed to the charge hike demand in the discussion conducted yesterday. The new charge will get implemented after getting the NATPAC report. Minister asked for a 15 days’ time for the report generation which was not agreed by the bus owners. Minister told media that the attitude of bus owners is a challenge to the people of Kerala. The Bus strike has become much worse as a K.S.R.T.C union is also on strike for the day
