BSNL 3G in Kerala
3G offers a wide range of services including fast Internet, Video calling and Live Television. In the first phase, 3G will be available within a limit of 30 km from the city. The data transfer speed is 10 times better than the current system.
As per BSNL plans, video calls can be done at 30 ps/min. A recharge of 120 Rs can provide 6 months validity with 20 Rs usage, 50 free video calls and 25 MB internet usage. 37,000 3G connections will be allotted in the first phase. The activation can be done within 2 days after the application.
The user needs o have a 3G phone for the service. The existing users can shift to 3G without changing the number. The prepaid customers can switch to 3G without any charges and postpaid users with a charge of 25 Rs. For 3G service application visit keralatelecom.com.
