IMA Kerala had launched a new system for getting blood at immediate situations. The system makes us to find the donor through a simple SMS. The replay SMS will provide the name and other details of the blood donor. The request SMS has to be send to the number 9496007007. The required blood group as well as the pin code has to be included in the SMS. The list of the donors will be obtained as replay. This new system will save time which is very precious in critical situations. About 50000 donors had already registered with this new system.
