56th Birthday of Kamal Hassan Celebrated
Ulaka Nayakan Kamal Hassan celebrated his 56th Birthday yesterday (07-11-2010).He was born on 1954. His birthday celebrations became colourful with the charity activities held during the event. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Shri M Karunanidhi wished him all the blessings of Birthday. This birthday celebrations with charitable acts was organised by Narpani Iyakkam.
Uniforms were distributed to 56 auto drivers, 15 sewing machines to woman, Medicines to social welfare groups, Cloths to AIDS patients at Rehabilitation centre at Thiruvannamalai, Books worth 25,000 to students, Financial aid to Handicapped and Widows, Laptops to Plus 2 Students etc were the major activities held during Kamal’s birthday celebration. Kamal thus gave a model to the whole world once more.
Kamal Hassan asked his fans to become active in the domain of social service. He also told fans that great interests are to be taken in delivering the the required help to the needed ones.
In his 56th birthday Kamal Hassan completed 52 years of his life in cinema. He first came on the silver screen as a child artist when he was 4 years old in the movie Kalatoor Kannamma. He won the National award for child artist for this appearance. Kamal has got 3 National awards for Best Actor for the movies Pirre(1982), Nayakan(1987), Indian(1996).
His fans are now waiting for the release of his new film venture. The film Manmadhan Ambu, is to be released next month. The story, screenplay and Lyrics are by Kamal himself. The director is K.S Ravikumar. Kamal also sings for the film.
