Four Friends
Four Friends is the new project of super hit maker Saji Surendran. This is the 3rd venture of Saji surendran after the films “Ivar Vivhitarayal”and Happy Husbands. Jayaram, Jayasurya, Kunchacko Boban and Indrajith are coming in the title role. The heroine is not decided. Tomichan Mulakupadam is the producer for Four Friends in the banner of Mulakupadam films. The story,screenplay and dialogues are by Krishna Pujapura. Camera will be by Anil Nair.
Cochin Metro Rail
Cochin Metro Rail project will again come under the consideration of the Parliament. This topic will be introduced in the Parliament by the Ministry of Urban Development. The planning commission had already given the sanction to Cochin Metro Rail with certain conditions, in the meeting called by T.K.A Nair. Kerala government gave Central Government the proposal of sharing 50 percent investment.
Reallocation of Departments in Kerala Ministry
Surendran Pillai from Kerala Congress (Thomas) Group will be the new Minister for Sports and Youth affairs. Minister M. Vijaykumar, who is currently handling these departments, will become the Minister of Public Works Department. The coming National Games will be the greatest responsibility for the new Sports minister.
International seminar on Cyber Security at Cochin
Kerala Police,CoCon along with Matriux Security is organizing a International conference of 2 days on Security and Hacking. The event Cocon 2010 will be held on 5th and 6th of August 2010 and the venue is Hotel Dream at Cochin. The conference is intended to spread the awareness of issues such as cyber crime, security measures etc. The event includes various technical and non technical discussions and community events. The ultimate aim the CoCon 2010 is to make cyberspace a secure place to hang around.
The Thriller of Prithviraj

The cast of the movie includes Siddique, Lalu Alex, Riyas Khan, Vijayaraghavan, Prajan, Kollam Tulasi, Sampath, Biju Pappan, Vincent Ashoka, Ananad, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Subeer,Padmanabhan. Poonam Kaul, Malika Kapoor etc. The Thriller is produced by Sabu Cherian in the banner of Ananda Bhairavi productions.

Den’s Digital Cable Network launched in Kerala
Cable television network, Den Networks launched their services in Kerala. In the initial phase they will cater for Ernakulam, Thrissur, Malapuram, Palakkad, Kannur, Kottayam, Alleppey and Trivandrum districts. Den digital cable TV network is having about 110 lakh connections throughout India. They have their presence in 83 cities in 9 states. Den’s Kerala launch is a part of their expansion program of widening their network countrywide. Den offers digital picture and sound with crystal clear clarity. Den is having about 150 channels including the regional ones. The services of Den include blogs and games. Micro blogging tool Tele is included with this. The monthly subscription charge of Den is below 200 Rs. Initially an amount of 1000 Rs will be charged for the set top box and installation charges. Den uses quality fiber optic cable for transmission.
