KERALA
Kerala is a southern state of India which is rich of many villages. Though it has numerous villages, it is fully equipped with all the modern sophistications. There is everything available in Kerala today. Any product of any nation is available in Kerala. India and China are the two countries which were not badly affected by the financial crisis. India has successfully managed to overcome the depression. And Kerala’s contribution to over come is praise worthy. Most of the IT professionals work in Kerala and they import software in bulk nowadays. All the advanced information technology is used in Kerala today. Kerala could be called the Chicago of India.
The educational back ground of the children of Kerala is in the international level today. Students are trained to lead the world and not the country alone. The view of the students of Kerala is at the peak of their interest.
The builders now change and find new ways and designs. The new fashion of abroad has given its way to a new model. The architects have evolved a new style which is a mixture of the traditional and the European styles.
While speaking about the automobile field it is note worthy saying that though India imports many of the foreign luxury cars, today most of the automobile companies are having their own factories in India itself. And those automobile companies who do not have factories in India are trying hard to establish themselves here in India some how. And the major portion of the customers is from Kerala. It makes clear how rich and sophisticated are the people of Kerala today.
The government of Kerala also gives fifty percent of quota for women in all the aspects of life. There is no division men and women in the societies of Kerala today. We can even find women driving trucks, buses and undertaking some other heavy duties too.
The present generation of Kerala is good at reading a lot and gathering knowledge in wide range. The educational facilities are so good and many of the students go even abroad for better and international exposure. Since the medical department does so well on their part, the people Kerala today do not have to fly abroad for better and treatment.
The fact that the electronic products of any company of any country is bought and used makes clear that the Keralites are modern. Kerala is to be noted for its hundred percent literacy. The government of Kerala today aims at 100% computer knowledge of all the ages since age is not a barrier of gaining knowledge.
The music and movies are the other important aspects since they are of very good quality. And this was proved very recently by the Oscar victory of Mr.Rasool Pookkutty.
The Alappuzha boat race is a remarkable item of Kerala. Many foreigners and celebrities come to watch and even participate it every year. The transports of road, rail and air are keeping themselves be developed every year as they can. The motive of Kerala is to grow and let others grow.

Malayalam Films got a total of 4 awards for the National Film Awards 2007 which is announced on 7th September 2009.
Adoor Gopalakrishnan got the award for the Best Director.
Kaancheevaram by Priyadarshan got the Award for the Best Film.
